Hey, I’m Matt, the founder of Web Design and Development company ‘Matt Barber Interactive Ltd‘. In a nutshell, I design and build websites for small businesses. I’ve worked with companies in a wide range of industries, both in the local area (Devon & Cornwall), and in other parts of the UK. I pride myself on delivering both exceptional websites, and a personalised customer experience. I’ve worked with estate agents, environmental consultants, surgeons, construction companies, accountants, marketing experts…..and many more, to deliver websites that really work well for their businesses. Some of my most recent projects include an ecommerce website for Identity Fashion, and a website where yacht owners can compare insurance quotes. All of these websites are built in WordPress, and offer cutting edge, mobile-friendly designs that can easily be tweaked and maintained over time, and that my clients can easily learn and become involved with too.

What type of businesses do you build websites for?
I work with mostly small and medium sized businesses, and have created websites across a wide range of industries including construction, finance, environmental, marketing, medical, property, event management, fashion (ecommerce), and many of the trades (plumbing, electrical etc) to name just a few.
What if I’m not happy with what you produce?
I have processes in place to make sure that you are! I always find out as much detail about what your needs are, and what designs and layouts you like before I start building your website. I provide visuals of your homepage early on in the process so that you can review things and make sure they’re going in the right direction. I’ve not had a client yet that I’ve not been able to satisfy.
What will the end result look like?
However you would like it to look! Design is just one aspect of your website, and so the end result isn’t just about how things look, but also how well your website is optimised. I’ll ensure that your website loads quickly, and that it look great on mobiles and tablets too. I’ll also talk to you about what keywords and key phrases you want to rank for, and I’ll help you to craft high quality content.
How long will it take to build my website?
It depends on a few different things such as how many pages you need, what features you require, and how complicated the design is to implement. Let me know when you need to website by, and I’ll let you know what’s possible! As a guide it will usually take anything from 4 weeks to several months.
Do I need to find my own hosting provider?
Not at all. All of my websites have fully managed hosting, so that you don’t have to do anything. In fact, I’ll provide unlimited space and bandwidth for your website, and I’ll carry out all of the essential maintenance you’ll need each month, including updating themes and plugins, and keeping everything backed up and secure. I even include the option to send me a couple of small 10 minute tasks each month at no extra cost. I’ll also purchase a domain name on your behalf if you haven’t already done so.
